Dr. Lindsay Mamula-Crippen, DVM, MBA, CVPM

Veterinarian / Owner
Dr. Mamula-Crippen's Bio
Hello all! If you are reading this then you are interested in VCPI becoming your new home for veterinary care. Here’s a little information about me.

I am a native of Colorado. In high school I was an avid athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and soccer. I, also, loved the piano and started playing at the age of five. For as long as I can remember I have aspired to be a veterinarian. My animal care career started in high school. I worked as a kennel “kid” at our family veterinarian. Even though my role was small, I learned firsthand the importance the client places on feeling confident and comfortable with their pet care provider.

I attended Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins studying Biology and Zoology. During college I worked at Lambspun of Colorado, a fiber arts gallery. While working there it was a necessity to acquire the skills of knitting, spinning, weaving and crocheting, but I, also, learned and saw firsthand how important it is to manage a business. Those three years provided me the confidence and determination to become a veterinarian and a business owner. Upon graduation from CSU, I applied and was accepted at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. I graduated in May 2003 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and returned to Colorado. To enhance my entrepreneurial knowledge, I decided to continue school and graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of Colorado at Denver.

What are those other letters behind my name? As you can tell I have a love of learning. Business was always something that intrigued me having two parents that were CPAs (Certified Public Accountants). So, I went further with my education to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). Once I dove more into veterinary medicine, I found I have a love for nutrition. I started exploring Eastern Medicine and obtained my Certified Veterinary Food Therapist Certification (CVFT). The love of learning never dies, so I will continue to be the best veterinarian I can be.

My doctor career started soon after my return to Colorado as an emergency and critical care veterinarian on the overnight shifts for a large Castle Rock practice. Since I was the only veterinarian present at night, I learned a lot of practical experience quickly. I worked my way onto the day shift as a general practitioner. After five years of practicing medicine there, I advanced in my career by becoming part owner of a practice in Castle Pines. I was a general practitioner as well as the primary manager of the multi-doctor practice for the next six years.

I moved to Parker in August 2014 and love it. I am calling my new home Veterinary Center of Parker, Inc. aka VCPI.

The final tidbit about me is my family. I am married with a charming and beautiful 10-year-old daughter. No doubt you will see her at the clinic volunteering her time, walking your fur babies and helping the clinic stay clean. The furry family members are Black Diamond, Chloe, and Everett (all cats), Bucky (Boston Terrier), Hazel (French Bulldog) and lots of lizards, turtle, hamster, guinea pigs and birds. I have a passion for photography, crafts, nutrition and CrossFit.

I look forward to meeting you and am excited to be a part of a dynamic team that offers compassionate care for your beloved furry or scaled family members!

P.S. We work as a team; you rely on my staff and me, the doctor, to prevent and heal, and I rely on you to tell me their story. We hope to gain your trust and confidence as your veterinary care provider to love and protect your pet.

Dr. Amanda Cormier, DVM

Dr. Cormier's Bio
I grew up in Massachusetts and have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. After school you could find me walking dogs at our local shelter, working at the barn to pay for horseback riding lessons, and shadowing veterinarians. As an avid skier and outdoor enthusiast, I came to Colorado where I got my Bachelor of Arts in biology from Colorado College. I then received my Doctors of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota. However, the mountains were calling, so I made my way back to Colorado and I love being part of the VCPI family.

When I’m not working you can find me hiking with my dog, Poe, or playing with my cat, Lila, and turtle, Flip. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!

Dr. Carlos Lloveras-Fuentes, DVM

Dr. Lloveras-Fuentes' Bio

Hello, I am Dr. Carlos! I was born in sunny San Juan, Puerto Rico and have always had a passion for helping animals in need. I started working with the local animal rescue organizations when I was in high school and this helped me realized that I wanted to become a veterinarian. I moved to Florida where I got my bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with a minor in Zoology from the University of Florida. Afterwards I moved to Alabama where I met my wife Alba and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Tuskegee University. Colorado’s outdoor and pet friendly lifestyle caught our attention and, after participating in a few externships in the Denver area, we decided Colorado was the place to be!!

We share our home with 2 Spanish Water Dogs named Zoe and Hugo, a Weimaraner named Zahra, 3 cats named Poe, Spy, and Alyah and 2 Sugar Gliders named Bindi and Lune. On our days off, we enjoy exploring Colorado with our dogs or you can find me at home playing the drums. I am so happy to be part of the VCPI Family and can’t wait to meet you!

Dr. Kristen Cavanaugh, DVM

Dr. Cavanaugh's Bio
At an early age, my neighbor sparked my love for animals when I began helping her to care for over 50 chinchillas when she started a chinchilla rescue. I grew up in a small farming community in Illinois, which allowed me to interact with farm animals and observe wildlife. Inspired by nature, I developed a strong interest in arts and learned to paint with oils. My artistic talents developed throughout high school and I attended the University of Illinois in Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in photography. While I was obtaining my bachelor’s, I also worked part time as a veterinary assistant where I realized I had intuitive skills and a greater passion for helping animals.

I decided to follow my dream of becoming a veterinarian and attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada in the Caribbean in 2013. There I volunteered to provide veterinary care throughout the island with outreach programs and helped with conservation for leatherback sea turtles. My passion and interest could not be limited to a specific area of veterinary medicine in school and I was recognized for my efforts with a scholarship for large animal internal medicine and was inducted into the National Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. I then attended the University of Minnesota for my clinical year which stimulated a strong interest in alternative care and traditional Chinese medicine. I recently moved to Colorado after practicing in Chicago to continue to be inspired by nature.

In my free time I enjoy playing the guitar, photography, traveling, and volunteering. I also love painting, yoga, biking, and snuggling with my pet kitty, Momo, and doggos, Behr and Grizzly. I am very excited to be able to provide comfort and care for your beloved pets as a new member of the VCPI family.

Dr. Lindsay Dillon, DVM

Dr. Dillon's Bio
I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, however, my family moved around a significant amount during my childhood, from Chicago, IL to Hong Kong to Parker and Evergreen, CO before eventually settling in Wisconsin. From a young age, I have known I wanted to moved back to Colorado one day, little did I know it would be so close to my CO roots!

I attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin where I received my Bachelor of Science in Genetics focused on evolutionary and population genetics. During college, I conducted research about Feline Ocular Post-Traumatic Sarcoma at the Comparative Ocular Pathology Laboratory of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. Throughout undergrad, I traveled and volunteered abroad in Australia, Guatemala, and Ecuador. I also studied aboard for a semester in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I then received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin. After veterinary school, it was finally time to move back to Colorado. I am so excited to begin working at Veterinary Center of Parker Inc.
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, puzzling, practicing yoga, bingeing the latest TV show, and cuddling my cats Wellington and Gwen. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

My name is Jade, and I am a Colorado native. I have always had a passion for animals, especially the scaly and slimy friends. My earliest memory was playing down at the pond with the toads. After years of having a wide variety of experiences with animals I knew Bel-Rea was my next step in life. Once I graduated as a certified veterinary technician, I knew my education did not stop there. Veterinary Center of Parker has furthered my education on how to help animals and couldn’t have asked for a better place.

When I am not spending time with others beloved pets at VCPI I continue to spend time with my own. I love taking my sweet girl Revy out on hikes and playing fetch. I have many geckos, frogs and lizards that keep me busy! Also, I enjoy spending time with the whole family, people included! I hope you become a part of the VCPI family and hope to see you soon!

Amy Edwards

Certified Veterinary Technician

Amy's Bio
My name is Amy and I discovered my passion for veterinary medicine when I started my first job at a veterinary clinic in New Jersey. Little did I know this would be the start of my forever career. A year later I found my way to Colorado and graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology as a CVT in 2001. I have a passion for helping critically ill and senior pets and have worked in both Colorado and Florida in general practice and emergency medicine. While in Florida I had the unique opportunity to work for a non-profit organization, Southeastern Guide Dogs. Helping pets and changing the lives of those with visual impairment was an incredibly rewarding experience. The last half of my career has been in hospital management and I am excited to place my focus back on patient care!

I share my life with my husband, daughter, 2 dogs (Tuesday, a Tibetan Mastiff and Murphy a Pit Bull mix) and 3 cats (Bling, Zip, & Wasabi). I love spending time with my family outdoors. In the winter you can find me snowboarding and in the warmer months I enjoy gardening, hiking, and exploring the mountains and nature.

Lesley Perry

Veterinary Assistant
Lesley's Bio

Aloha! My name is Lesley Perry. I am a native Hawaiian, born and raised on the island of Oahu. Though I miss the beautiful sandy beaches and lush green mountains of Hawaii, I have happily called Colorado my home since 2007. I am a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a BA degree in zoology. I have worked in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician/assistant since 2005. My experience in the veterinary field has been with both general practice clinics as well as emergency hospitals. The hours that I have spent communicating with clients and helping to treat their pets have taught me the importance of compassion, empathy, strength, knowledge, and trust, all of which I strive to bring to each individual case.

When I’m not working, I enjoy simple pleasures, such as taking my dogs on long walks/hikes, going on bike rides, and relaxing in front of a movie. I share my life with my loving husband Chad, crazy anxious American Cocker Spaniel named Bosco, a handsome German Shepherd named Max, and sneaky Maine Coon/Tabby mix named Atticus.

Shanyn Cascia

Veterinary Assistant
Shanyn's Bio

Hello! My name is Shanyn, and I am proud to be a Veterinary assistant with VCPI! I recently spent 10 years working in a 9-1-1 center but am now thrilled to be doing what I have always wanted to do, which is working with animals and their people. Growing up, I always had animals surrounding me, and I wanted to become a veterinarian. While attending college, I had two amazing children and chose to focus on raising them while working at the 9-1-1 center. My kids are now 17 and 14, and I have come full circle and am back attending school to receive my veterinary technician certification. When I’m not at work loving on your amazing furry family members, I am at home working to grow our farm and ranch in Strasburg alongside my wonderful husband. We grow our own produce and have critters that range from goats and llamas to dogs, turkeys, ducks, rabbits, lizards, hedgehogs, and chickens! You could say that animals truly are my life, and I LOVE IT! I look forward to seeing you and your own wonderful pets at VCPI!

Hunter Hays

Veterinary Assistant
Hunter's Bio

Hello! My name is Hunter Hays. I was born and raised in Colorado and can’t imagine living anywhere else. I am originally from Westminster but moved to Arvada in 2010 to play football and run track at Ralston Valley High School. When I wasn’t playing sports, I was spending my time hanging with friends and playing alternative/punk music in a “basement band.” In 2015, I started attending Colorado State University to further my education in zoology, where I also had the opportunity to shadow with an exotic animal veterinarian and truly found my passion. I haven’t looked back since.

I currently live with my dad, stepmom, and the best little guy in the world, our French Bulldog Melvin (but we like to call him Smellvin). I love to spend my free time relaxing at home with them and going to concerts with friends. Though my failed band days are behind me, I still frequently play the guitar and attempt to sing and have recently started playing the piano! I am incredibly lucky to be a part of the Veterinary Center of Parker, Inc. family and look forward to every day I get to spend with all these amazing people and animals. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry companions!

Ashley Seidenberg

Veterinary Assistant
Ashley's Bio
Hello! My name is Ashley and I love being a part of the VCPI team. I grew up an only child, surrounded by animals. I’ve had cats, dogs, fish, hermit crabs, hamsters, snakes, budgies, chickens, and even goats! I found my passion very early in life, always knowing that I wanted a career where I had the pleasure to care for animals. When I was little some of my favorite things to do were going to the zoos, aquariums, and visiting the shelters just to show the animals there some love. (I still love doing those things today!) When I joined the VCPI family, I know I had found my home. I love caring for your fur babies and getting to know you. I currently have one dog named Blue, (a 5-year-old Australian Shepard/Catahoula mix), a 7-year-old cat named Jack, and three fish tanks. Two of them contain bettas and my 40 gallon houses a beautiful Opaline Gourami.

I grew up in Southern California and moved to Montana when I was 15. I then moved to Castle Rock, Colorado in 2016. In my free time I love to be outdoors enjoying all the beautiful places this state has to offer whether it be hiking, camping, or riding my bike! I also enjoy acrylic painting, concerts, and reading novels. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
