VETERINARIANS

Dr. Lindsay Mamula-Crippen, DVM, MBA, CVPM, CVFT
Veterinarian / CEO
Dr. Mamula-Crippen's Bio
Hello! Thank you for taking some time to read more about me as the owner of Veterinary Center of Parker (VCPI). We hope that VCPI will become your new home for veterinary care.
Let’s dig in and find out some interesting facts about me:
I am a native of Colorado. In high school I was an avid athlete playing volleyball, basketball, and soccer. I, also, loved the piano and started playing at the age of five. For as long as I can remember I have aspired to be a veterinarian. My animal care career started in high school. I worked as a kennel “kid” at our family veterinarian. Even though my role was small, I learned firsthand the importance the client places on feeling confident and comfortable with their pet care provider.
I attended Colorado State University (CSU) in Fort Collins studying Biology and Zoology. During college I worked at Lambspun of Colorado, a fiber arts gallery. While working there it was a necessity to acquire the skills of knitting, spinning, weaving, and crocheting, but I, also, learned and saw firsthand how important it is to manage a business. Those three years provided me the confidence and determination to become a veterinarian and a business owner. Upon graduation from CSU, I applied and was accepted at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. I graduated in May 2003 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and returned to Colorado. To enhance my entrepreneurial knowledge, I decided to continue school and graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of Colorado at Denver.
What are those other letters behind my name? As you can tell I have a love of learning. Business was always something that intrigued me having two parents that were CPAs (Certified Public Accountants). So, I went further with my education to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). Once I dove more into veterinary medicine, I found I have a love for nutrition. I started exploring Eastern Medicine and obtained my Certified Veterinary Food Therapist Certification (CVFT). The love of learning never dies, so I will continue to be the best veterinarian I can be.
My doctor career started soon after my return to Colorado as an emergency and critical care veterinarian on the overnight shifts for a large Castle Rock practice. Since I was the only veterinarian present at night, I learned a lot of practical experience quickly. I worked my way onto the day shift as a general practitioner. After five years of practicing medicine there, I advanced in my career by becoming part owner of a practice in Castle Pines. I was a general practitioner as well as the primary manager of the multi-doctor practice for the next six years.
I moved to Parker in August 2014 and love it. My new and final home is Veterinary Center of Parker.
The final tidbit about me is my family. I am married to my husband with a charming and beautiful teenage daughter. No doubt you will see her at the clinic volunteering her time, walking your fur babies and helping the clinic stay clean. My furry family members are Bucky (Boston Terrier) and Millie (English Bulldog).
I have a passion for photography, crafts, and nutrition. As I learn more about my own health needs, I transfer that knowledge to my patients. As I continue to learn and grow in the field of veterinary medicine. I have focused my energy into functional medicine for animals.
I look forward to meeting you and am excited to be a part of a dynamic team that offers compassionate care for your beloved furry, feather or scaled family members!
P.S. My philosophy as a doctor is we work as a team; you rely on my staff and me, the doctor, to prevent and heal, and I rely on you to tell me their story. We hope to gain your trust and confidence as your veterinary care provider to love and protect your pet.

Dr. Amanda Cormier, DVM
Veterinarian / Lead Doctor
Dr. Cormier's Bio
You know that feeling when you have found your place in the world? That’s how I feel in veterinary medicine and in particular, at Veterinary Center of Parker, Inc. My main job as a veterinarian is to be a voice for your pet. I love answering all of your questions and helping to strengthen the bond you have with your furry friend. My dog Poe and my cat Lila are 100% part of my family. They sleep on the bed and demand attention all the time. Poe and I even have matching hoodies. So I fully understand wanting the best for our pets, and so much of that involves providing the best care we can. That spans from vaccines as puppies and kittens to deciding when it is time to say a peaceful goodbye. I want to be there with you every step of the way.
Animals were a huge part of my childhood growing up in Massachusetts and that childhood joy has not diminished. After getting my bachelor’s degree at Colorado College and my veterinary degree at the University of Minnesota, I moved back to Colorado and couldn’t be happier. The love of learning never dies, so I’m always reading and watching webinars to stay up to date. And I have a new found passion for backyard chickens! In my non-animal time, you can find me reading, knitting, hiking, or skiing. Please let me know if you have any book recommendations!
I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Dr. Makenzie Adams, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Makenzie's Bio
I first became interested in VCPI during my externship, where I saw firsthand the incredible compassion and dedication the team shows to both clients and their pets. The positive attitude and supportive environment at VCPI make it easy to love coming to work every day, and I feel fortunate to be part of such a wonderful team.
My journey in veterinary medicine started long before veterinary school. I started working as a kennel technician at a small animal/exotics general practice and emergency hospital when I was 16. Over the years, I worked my way up to treatment assistant and eventually became the hospital’s treatment and urgent care nurse, a role I held for five years before attending veterinary school. Those experiences gave me a strong foundation in patient care and confirmed my passion for helping animals and the people who love them.
Speaking of my own pets, I share my home with Joey, my Pembroke Welsh Corgi, who is very naughty but thankfully also very cute, and Mipha, my cat. When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll usually find me knitting, crocheting, spinning yarn, watercolor painting, or working on some other crafty project. Since moving to Colorado, I’ve also developed a love for hiking—a hobby that wasn’t nearly as accessible back in (very flat) Oklahoma!
One of my favorite parts of being a veterinarian is building relationships with clients and their pets, and doing everything I can to make it a fear-free experience for everyone involved.
VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

Amy, RVT
Registered Veterinary Technician
Amy's Bio
My name is Amy and I discovered my passion for veterinary medicine when I started my first job at a veterinary clinic in New Jersey. Little did I know this would be the start of my forever career. A year later I found my way to Colorado and graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology as a CVT in 2001. I have a passion for helping critically ill and senior pets and have worked in both Colorado and Florida in general practice and emergency medicine. While in Florida I had the unique opportunity to work for a non-profit organization, Southeastern Guide Dogs. Helping pets and changing the lives of those with visual impairment was an incredibly rewarding experience. The last half of my career has been in hospital management and I am excited to place my focus back on patient care!
I share my life with my husband, daughter, my dog Murphy, a Pit Bull mix and 3 cats, Zip, Milo, and Willow. I love spending time with my family outdoors. In the winter you can find me snowboarding and in the warmer months I enjoy gardening, hiking, and exploring the mountains and nature.

After graduation, I began volunteering/working at a local vet clinic, where I found my love and passion for animals.

In my free time, I enjoy crafting and being in the mountains, whether that be camping or hiking, or just trying something new! I also have a Dutch Shepherd named Freya (in the pic) who tends to take up much of my time. She is one of the sassiest and most intelligent dogs I’ve owned, so she keeps me on my toes! I’m constantly trying to teach her something new, and how to utilize her own senses, like scent work. I look forward to meeting your furry and not-so-furry friends!

Ryan's Bio
I’m genuinely excited to work at VCPI because the culture here matches what matters to me — compassionate care, teamwork, communication, and doing right by every patient and client who walks through the door.
I’ve always had a soft spot for birds, especially Sun Conures. My connection with them is a huge part of why I’m pursuing this career. That experience stays with me every day and pushes me to be detail-oriented, gentle, and a strong advocate for the animals in our care.
Outside of work and school, you’ll usually find me doing something hands-on — mid-century modern design projects, cooking, going to EDM shows, or spending time with my son. I like staying busy, learning new things, and finding ways to grow both personally and professionally.
I’m grateful to be part of VCPI, and I’m excited to keep building my skills here while contributing to the supportive, high-quality care the hospital is known for.
