I am a 4th generation Colorado native. I am new to the VCPI family but not new to the Parker area. I grew up in Parker and spent the majority of my childhood on the back of a horse or hanging out at the barn as a true “barn rat.” This experience fueled my love for animals both large and small as well as taught me hard work and dedication.
I received both my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and B.S. in Environmental Health from Colorado State University. Although my initial interest after graduation was in equine medicine, I have since found a love for small animal medicine with a particular interest in improving the quality of life of our aging four-legged friends. In an effort to better manage pain I pursued acupuncture training through the Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians course and am now certified in veterinary medical acupuncture (cVMA). By combining acupuncture and laser therapy with conventional western medicine we can keep our furry friends going strong into their senior years.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, hiking, gardening, skiing, and riding my horse. I am married to the most wonderful man and we have a daughter and of course the furry family… a cat, dog, and horse.
I look forward to meeting you and providing the compassionate care that your pet deserves.
