Hello! My name is Genevieve Antunes and I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago.
At a young age, my family moved to Spring Hope, North Carolina and we lived on 16 acres that I was always exploring and finding new little critters on the land. From there, we moved back to the Midwest to Wisconsin. I started my college education in 2013 at UW-Milwaukee studying Conservation and Environmental Sciences. Shortly into it, I realized that it wasn’t what I wanted to make a career out of.
While I am still very interested in Environmental Sciences, I knew I wanted to work more directly with animals and their human companions to ensure they got the best care and education they needed to keep them happy and healthy. Once I came to this realization, I attended Milwaukee Career College to get my Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Assisting graduating in 2016.
After graduating, I started working in small companion animal hospitals in Wisconsin but was looking for more of a variety from life and my career. I moved to Denver, Colorado in 2019 with my three cats, Bobby, Kate, and Whinnie! I am so thrilled to be working for the Veterinary Center of Parker Inc. and I can’t wait to meet you and the fur kids you have!
